With ABC announcing its midseason lineup, with Wed. being filled with comedies (with exception of Lost returning to its Wed 9PM timeslot), Pushing Daisies is nowhere to be seen. An unfortunate dilemma indeed, ABC with too many shows and so few slots, the pie maker may be lost in the world of brilliant shows, canceled unfairly so.

But, what is this. Is popularity of series living out their drama in the land of comic books a possible solution if ABC fails to renew this uniquely crafted series for season three? It works for Buffy and Angel, and current shows Supernatural and even Ghost Whisperer, all who've seen plots unfold in colorful illustrations of comics. At least that is what creator Bryan Fuller has shown interest in, continuing the tales of the pie maker, Ned, through the unique comics of art, shall the series fail to be scheduled in Fall '09.

The new SCI-FI Channel series starring former Stargate SG-1/Atlantis actress Amanda Tapping has been given a go for a second season. The series premiere saw 3 million viewers tuning, up there with the series premiere of Eureka.
