Apr 29- E! Online has got the five finalists for the annual Save One Show poll. And they are: Everwood [WB], One Tree Hill [WB], Supernatural [WB], Veronica Mars [UPN], and What About Brian [ABC]. I put Veronica Mars in bold, because I adore that show as well, but it's all about making sure that Supernatural has a spot on the CW schedule next fall [the whole UPN/WB merge is why four are from those networks, the fans want to ensure a better chance for their survivals.] Just email Kristin [tvdiva@eonline.com] with the name of the show in the subject line. Mar 31- Last night's episode was AWESOME! Loved the pranks and the Ghostbusters and Buffy references. Anyway, I guess it should be a routine that after every new episode to expect to see a new treat on the Official Site. The latest goody can be found in the trunk. An added link, found in Research Links in the laptop, which was actually mentioned from last night and I was gonna check the site out knowing it had to be a real address: Hellhoundslair.com. Hopefully, by the end of the season, the Hunter's Blog will be active and that box in the back seat (from 'Home') can be opened.
Mar 15- It seems theWB will not show Supernatural on Tues 9pm until Pepper Dennis starts (Apr 4), instead it looks like an extra Gilmore Girls episode will be on instead (as well as on Wed 9pm until that slot is filled).
Mar 03- Looks like, despite moving to a new night, Supernatural will be a repeat for a while. This is typical after any sweeps period (except the other stations, will have new eps, especially NBC, since they had the Winter Olympics, but theWB had new eps against the Olympics, therefore, they'll be cooling off for a little bit). They have three new shows coming in later this month (actually only two this month, Pepper Dennis doesn't start until Apr 4 [this is the show that will be on Tues at 9pm, so I guess WB will show Supernatural for the remainder of the month on Tues, even after the move?]), so I would assume there will be at least one new episode this month from this show (as well as others).
Feb 16- The Saturn Awards were announced, and Supernatural has one nomination (BEST NETWORK TELEVISION SERIES). See full list from Cinescape.
Feb 14- The Official Site has been updated once more. Now, there's a key located on the floor in the back, click first then go for the glove compartment, and wah-la, a box with samples of ID cards the guys use. Also, the weapon's box can be accessed again (for a while it was down). I won't give the combo (Mary's (their mother) death date). The only thing added is a newspaper clipping on the Rolling Stones tour.
Feb 3- Congrats to the show, helping WB rank #2 for Tuesday night among adults 18-49, thanks to the other networks showing that State Union thing (*I know what it is, and I didn't watch it, why bother when Supernatural was the only thing new). The show, from a press release by the WB, gained in ratings, with a total viewership of about 5.8 million. It actually did better than Gilmore. Way to go WB Tuesday for airing new eps (UPN didn't air the 'State of the Union', but they were airing repeats).
Jan 31- WB will move Supernatural to Thursday 9pm after Smallville, beginning March 16. It also seems that there won't be an encore airing anymore: the futon critic
Jan 24- UPN and THE WB MERGE: (Read It Here at MSNBC), and MSNBC gives the lowdown to the shows more likely to survive. One of the top picks, duh!, Supernatural:
The merger was announced just days after this smart horror series was written up in the New York Times as the WB’s “only new hit of the fall season” [Read that article: 'Things That Go Bump in Prime Time']. It has two studly brothers, creepy monsters-of-the-week that often play off old-school urban legends, and a nicely mysterious backstory involving the death of the boys’ mother and the disappearance of their father. Gruesome horror plus eye candy is one thing, but it’s even better when backed by a “Lost”-esque history. Odds of survival: 8 out of 10.Gilmore Girls scores 9.9 out of 10 (being the highest rated show from both networks), and Smallville also sees a survival rate of 8 out of 10. There's a 50% chance Charmed could even go on. On the UPN side, Veronica Mars has a 7 out of 10.
Tuesday, Dec. 27, 9 p.m., “Pilot” [1.1] Wednesday, Dec. 28, 9 p.m., “Dead in the Water” [1.3] Thursday, Dec. 29, 9 p.m., “Skin” [1.6] Sunday, January 1, 9 p.m., “Hook Man” [1.7]
OCT 18 - TheWB is currently re-airing Supernatural on Sundays at 9pm ET following Charmed, as Blue Collar is on hiatus. So, if you miss it on Tuesday nights (say, you may be watcing My Name is Earl, or House), you can catch it on Sundays now. Source: the futon critic
OCT 12 - Supernatural continues to do well in ratings. The Oct. 11 episode ("Bloody Mary") gave them their best rating score in the freshman series, attracting the largest audience of 5.5 million viewers. Both Gilmore Girls and Supernatural gave theWB its best Tuesday night of the broadcast season with adults 18-34 (...), and total viewers of 5.8 million. Source: the futon critic
OCT 06 - Supernatural has a full season order (22 episodes). It is the second new show this year to receive a full season order (the first was FOX's Prison Break). Source: the futon critic
