Supernatural

TV Favorites

How about a tabled list of ALL the current TV shows I watch, and note, these are those I watch every time they are new. There are of course casual views of random repeats or documentaries. I try to keep up with new shows in development and those ordered to series, just as much as keeping up with what gets canned. Developemt/Cancelation news can be found at the fantastic and my favorite source for overnight TV ratings, cast/crew news, canceled or renewed news, and all things important to television, TVByTheNumbers.com.

*Green titles are new series. I'll strike through series I either decide against (whether time constraint, or another trailer makes me reconsider) or gave it a shot, but just couldn't get into it. Other notes: Torchwood is a British series, which is a spinoff of Doctor Who, that now has a US provider in Starz, which, can still be streamed through Netflix, but 90-days after the fact, which they started with Camelot. Hawaii Five-O, I stopped watching due to lack of DVR and no time, but now that I've built a PC to serve as a DVR, I can potentially go back to watching that, as well as NCIS and House, which I stopped watching in the 2010-2011 season, b/c of time.

2010-2011 notes/cancel watch

Life Unexpected, Mr. Sunshine, Better With You, The Cape, Breaking In, and sadly, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior all died. Fringe and Chuck both got another season, despite not even maintaining there bad ratings from last season, amazingly. I'm not complaining, as I love those shows. Chuck, is confirmed, to have a 5th a final season.

Cancel series watch, 2009-2010 [HISTORY of last few seasons]:

so far, my new series picks Three Rivers, Eastwick were both removed from the schedule and canned. As for returning series, Dollhouse got canned as well. Legend of the Seeker, sadly, also perished.

2008-2009:

The Listener (NBC) (this is a Canadian series that NBC premiered in the summer of 2009, but ultimately canceled. Because of great international viewership and decent viewership in Canada as well, it managed a 2nd season, which CTV in Canada premiered in February of 2011. There is still no news on how those of us that liked the show, living in the US, can watch it, legally).

Misc. Series **
I don't have Science Channel no more, which I'll miss the shows (and docs) I watched on there
Starz will now be the US provider for Torchwood, and unless Starz Play ceases to exist, I'll be able to watch thanks to Netflix (highly recommend)
Sadly, True Blood falls here unless when it returns in June, I get HBO, or if Time Warner can stop being a bunch of greedy bastards, and allow HBO-Go service to have its own subscription service (which, even if we subscribed to HBO, HBO Go is not available to Time Warner Cable customers, interesting since HBO is a Time Warner company), to allow non-subscribers to, essentially subscribe. Here's hoping something happens between now and June 26th, 'cause I REALLY need to watch my favorite summer series (2nd favorite of current shows overall).
I am also without BBC America now, which sucks, as this is how we get Being Human, Doctor Who, and Primeval in the US, though I can legally obtain those buy buy the seasons on iTunes, I'd rather not though as I'm not made of money, I did purchase Doctor Who, but the others are gonna have to wait.
I don't have Showtime, so I can't watch Weeds, which I love. I caught up with them all on Netflix, and bought the 6th season on Blu-Ray.
